Why isn’t the Mac app in the Mac App Store?
Controlling a Mac remotely requires Accessibility access and a power helper for lid-closed mode, which the Mac App Store sandbox doesn’t allow. Like other Mac remote-access tools, Pocketlid will be distributed directly, signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarized.
How do I get into the beta?
Sign up on the beta page with your email and the phone you use, then click the confirmation link we send you. We’re adding testers in small groups and will email you a download link when there’s a spot for your phone.
